I am in the process of building a 32 Ford 5 Window Coupe for myself, ( NOT FOR SALE ) It will have a hand built frame and will be very low to the ground, ( About 2 - 3 inches off the ground ) Maybe less, But will have air ride in the rear so I can raise the car when I want to, I have also built a 4 link set up for the rear and a track locator (Panhard bar), In the front I am using a Supper Bell 4 1/2 inch dropped I beam axle, I am also installing a 1955 Dodge Hemi and a Chevy 700R4 Overdrive Tranny and a Ford 9 inch rear end with a posi and 390 gears, This car is going to be built with Old School Hot Rods in mind, I am trying to do a look that is from late 1950s to the early 1960s, I am using a lot of vintage parts on the car, I am all about the Old School Hot Rod look and I want my car to represent that, I am definitely getting a new set of bias ply wide white wall tires, I am not sure about the wheels yet, It will probably have an original type wheel painted red or an original type wheel chromed, The only modern part on my car that will show, Is the front disk brakes, I don't like the look but I want the car to be safe and stop straight, So I am using disk brakes, The car will definitely, For sure be getting a 60's style metal flake paint job, (BIG FLAKE ) I think I will be using Gold Metal Flake, Keep checking back in, I will be adding many more pictures and details as the building process continues.
This is how my car started out, 2 pieces of 2 x 6 steel tubing to make the front frame rails, Then a piece of 2 x2 steel tubing was inserted inside at an angle and the 2 x 6 tubing was cut so I ended up with front frame rails that are 2 x 3 at the front and 2 x 6 at the fire wall area, Then just to make them look cool I cut some big holes in them and welded in some pipe.

At this time the frame is just tack welded together, Just in case I need to change something, When I get the car fully built I will take it all back apart and fully weld everything then.
